As the new year unfolds, we find ourselves back at the starting line, gearing up for another marathon filled with challenges, opportunities, and success. At the Australian Lebanese Business Council (ALBC), our resolution for 2026 is simple yet ambitious. 

We remain committed to our mission of supporting local businesses and driving sustainable economic growth. Where 2025 focused on building a strong foundation, this year is about building momentum. We intend to pool our resources to strengthen visibility and create a tangible impact by providing dedicated support for the Australian Lebanese diaspora. 

Our plans for the year are grounded in action. The year ahead is meticulously planned with various events set to take place. Among them are networking opportunities. ALBC recognises the importance of networking to forge long-term relationships and gain recognition within any industry. 

ALBC is dedicated to championing the interests of our members, with professional development at the heart of our mission. Through mentorship programs and workshops across trade, technology, health, and finance, we aim to equip business owners with the skills, insight, and industry knowledge they need to thrive. Among all initiatives, ALBC seeks to pave the way for partnerships that provide opportunities through strategic introductions with key figures from DFAT, Austrade, Lebanese Ministries, and trade councils.  

ALBC’s support extends beyond business, as it proudly supports two Lebanese tennis players at the 2026 Australian Open. This initiative reflects our commitment to nurturing talents across various fields, thus increasing the visibility of the Lebanese community on a global scale. 

Furthermore, ALBC aims to bring visibility and empowerment to women and young entrepreneurs. As our organisation continues to grow, we strive to be a pillar of support that uplifts emerging leaders, nurtures innovative ideas, and provides the tools, connections, and guidance needed to succeed.
